Paul is a graduate of the California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a graduate of the San Diego State University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Southern California born and raised, he moved to San Diego in 1993. Paul Smith has been a small business owner is Hillcrest since 2008 and currently the sole owner and operator of The Merrow, a welcoming dive bar featuring cocktails, craft beer and live entertainment most night of the week.
